WATCH: Danny Davis III breaks free for Wisconsin’s longest pass play of the season

Wisconsin’s offense exploded against Rutgers, as the Badgers put 52 points on the board while aided by their defense. The 52-3 win set many season-best marks, including Wisconsin’s longest passing play of the year.

With the game already decided, Danny Davis III broke free from Rutgers for what turned into a 72-yard touchdown. This was Davis’ only catch of the day, and it was one of three touchdown passes for Graham Mertz that day.

Saturday marked the beginning of a slow season for a Badger offense that had struggled to get the ball through the air.
