Before the game, Baltimore released their inactives list. It included five players. Three of the five inactives were newcomers in security Ben Cleveland, outside linebacker Daelin Hayes, and safety Ar’Darius Washington. Two are veterans who are recovering or dealing with injuries to defensive lineman Derek Wolfe, and cornerback Jimmy Smith.

Cleveland and Washington are both healthy scratches, while Hayes was dealing with a knee injury leading up to the game. The Ravens chose Jaylon Ferguson to be their fifth outside linebacker, despite the fact that the rookie was fully present in practice on Tuesday night.
Smith is currently recovering from an ankle injury and has just returned to practice. Baltimore seems to be unwilling to take on another injury, which is a wise decision. Wolfe, who has been suffering from a back injury for several weeks, hadn’t practiced in the week leading up to the game.
The Ravens only had to make five players inactive due to them entering the game with just 51 players, as opposed to a full 53-man roster.
