Raoni Barcelos vs. Trevin Jones in the works for UFC Fight Night 199

The UFC has a bantamweight contest planned for its Dec. 18 Event.

Brazil’s Raoni Barcelos and Guam’s Trevin Jones have been matched up for UFC Fight Night 199, which takes place at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. Both sides have already agreed to the bout.

Two people who are familiar with the targeted booking have recently informed MMA Junkie about the matchup, but they asked to remain anonymous because the promotion has yet make an official announcement.

Barcelos (16-2 MMA, 5-1 UFC) is coming off his first promotional loss, his first defeat overall since April 2014. Barcelos’ nine-fight winning streak was ended by Timur Valiev at UFC Fight Night 190.

Jones (13-7 MMA, 1-1 UFC) is also on the heels of his first UFC loss, a submission defeat to Saidyokub Kakhramonov in August. Jones defeated Mario Bautista (MMA) and Timur Valiev in the previous fight. Jones was found to be high on marijuana and the Valiev fight result was rescheduled .
