Sunday’s matchup between the Green Bay Packers & Chicago Bears at Soldier Field will not look normal. At least, it won’t be visually.
Getting a twist is one of the most exciting matchups in the NFL.
Chicago began wearing this throwback during the 2019season. It featured vertical and horizontal orange and navy stripes on a white uniform and navy pants. The helmets were also navy with three orange stripes. The Bears will also wear the classic uniform in Week 15 against the Minnesota Vikings.
Matt Nagy could use some help. The Packers have won 10 of the last 11 games at Soldier Field, including both of the games since Matt LaFleur was hired in Green Bay in 2019. Last season, the Packers won 35-16 in Chicago.
It’s been a great start to the year in Green Bay for uniforms. In Week 1, the Packers wore green uniforms against the New Orleans Saints in Jacksonville. The team also faced the San Francisco 49ers wearing throwback uniforms in Week 3.
