LAS VEGAS – Danny Roberts beat Ramazan Emeev with a split decision Saturday on the preliminary card at UFC Fight Night 195 in Las Vegas.
Take a look inside the fight with Roberts, who scored an upset in his first fight since November 2019.
” There was one shot. I felt it and gave it a poker face. It was the timing. He was setting the pace. He was very slow. (I’ve had) 11 fights in the UFC. I don’t move at such a fast pace. I don’t go that slow. It was strange. It was like I was in a sparring match. It became a bit more of a fight, so if anyone comes to me with a fighting dog, I’ll always win .”

” I’m focused. I feel dialed in. The first round was definitely his. I was able to identify the second round as mine. And then, 100 percent, the third – I secured it. It was just a matter to see what the judges thought. … I thought (30-27 for me) was a bit of a strange score – I’m not going to lie.”
“( I’d like to return) before Christmas. I have a slight (medical) suspension (with stitches) on the top of my head. I’m now at the UFC (for fights). I want to maintain the consistency and that will be achieved by getting more fights. I won’t let this go. This is my time .”
