Cardinals activate 4 from COVID list, add 2 more, sign CB Bashaud Breeland

The Arizona Cardinals made some roster changes on Tuesday. All four of the players who could not play Sunday due to being on the COVID List after testing positive for the virus were activated Tuesday.

Linebackers Markus Golden and Devon Kennard, tackle D.J. Humphries and cornerback Breon Borders were all activated to the 53-man roster.

However, two other members of the roster were infected with the virus and were put on the COVID List. According to the league transaction report defensive tackle Zach Kerr and linebacker Tanner Vallejo were both added. Both are unlikely to be available for the final weekend of regular-season play.

The Cardinals announced the addition of Bashaud Breeland, a veteran cornerback to their practice squad. Although it was an expected move, he had the flu a week prior and the team waited to see if he could be cleared.

After playing and starting 13 this season,

Breeland got released by the Minnesota Vikings last week. He had tackles, five pass breakups, and two forced fumbles in those matches.

He was the No.1 cornerback for the Kansas City Chiefs the previous two years. He was the No. 1 cornerback for Kansas City Chiefs in his two previous years. He was a four-year veteran of the Washington Football Team, and one season with the Green Bay Packers.
